yesterday was the last game of the football championships. we lost to FEU, 0-1.

last sunday was one of the best football days: i was with my football girls (yes, yan na tawag ko sa inyo), i took a lot of nice photos, it was a great game, and of course, ateneo won. yesterday was the complete opposite.

nevertheless, i'm still happy that we got to be part of another season, as swift as it may have been. i'm proud of our team; they've gone a long way since last year and being in the finals is already a huge accomplishment.

it's sad though, because we know less and less players. that was the final UAAP game of patrick ozaeta and alvin perez, which we believe to be the two most valuable players of the ateneo team in the years we have been watching football. it wasn't the same when most of the champion team were gone when we graduated, and it wouldn't be the same without these guys next year.

next year? oh we'll definitely be there.

ateneo's in the finals once more, and this time it's against FEU. we won the first game, 2-0. :) i'm not really in the mood to write about it, so i'll just post some pics from this season. i'm proud of our team.. they deserve the championship this year. :)

i've been looking at pictures from the past seasons and i can't help noticing the "evolution" in my photography; i've not only upgraded my equipment (from a point-and-shoot to a legit digital SLR), but i'm happy to say that the quality of my work has improved. i'm in no way a legit sports photographer yet, but i will get there someday. :)
